What is micro-needling?

Microneedling causes minimally invase precision micro-injuries of the epidermis and dermis, without causing open wounds or ablative damage. The puncturing channels close after a short time and these micro-injuries trigger the body’s wound healing cascade, which induces an an increased collagen production in the treated skin. Micro-needling triggers the construction of new tissue by stimulating healthy cell regeneration in precision-targeted areas that show the signs of aging. It effectively reduces wrinkles, tightens and thickens the skin, and - perhaps most impressively - fill and smooths scars.

Does Microneedling hurt?

We use a numbing cream prior to your treatment. This numbing cream makes the treatment feel similar to exfoliating.

How many treatments are recommend?

3-6 treatments depending on your skin concerns. Each treatment should be 6 weeks apart.

How soon after treatment can I resume my daily activity?

Treatments will leave your skin flushed (looking like a sunburn) for 24-36 hours. Some clients may experience tenderness in the skin, while others report no discomfort at all. We recommend that you avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours, and follow our after treatment skin care regimen for 24 hours.
